We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register for the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products, or otherwise contact us. This includes your name, email address, institutional affiliation, and account credentials. Payment data is processed by Razorpay; we do not store credit card details.

2. How We Process Your Data (The Tri-Layer Data Lake)

Cite Master operates a proprietary "Tri-Layer Data Lake." When you submit citations for verification, the metadata is processed and cached across our infrastructure. By using the Service, you grant Aurelux Technologies a perpetual, non-exclusive license to store, cache, and utilize anonymized citation metadata submitted through our platform to improve our global verification graph.

3. Third-Party Data Processors

To provide our 9-level verification pipeline, your citation queries may be transmitted to third-party academic APIs (including but not limited to PubMed, CrossRef, ArXiv, restricted publisher APIs, and DeepSeek AI). We only transmit the minimum necessary metadata required to perform the verification. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external academic databases.

4. Data Retention and Security

We implement enterprise-grade technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards, no internet transmission is 100% secure. We reserve the right to delete inactive accounts and purge associated user libraries without prior notice.
